Global Clinical Operations



Global Clinical Operations (GCO) oversees all operational aspects of clinical trials worldwide, including global training and global vendor strategy and resource management. GCO has established a set of globally-aligned standards, policies and practices to ensure consistent execution and management of clinical trials. Additionally, five regional heads of Clinical Operations report into the GCO with responsibility for regional study site selection, trial management and monitoring, and local adherence to established standards. The goal is to achieve clinical excellence in all aspects of trial conduct wherever in the world Schering-Plough conducts clinical trials.
