Schering-Plough Research Institute (SPRI) is the human pharmaceutical research unit of Schering-Plough Corporation, a global science-based health care company with leading prescription, consumer and animal health products.  We have a strong R&D engine, with laboratories around the world.

SPRI has one of the richest and most diverse late-stage pipelines in the industry today, with a strategic balance of biotech, including vaccines, and small molecules. Click here to see our pipeline. In this way, SPRI is able to maintain a continual flow of innovative therapies to meet patient needs.

Our R&D program includes both primary and specialty care projects in the therapeutic areas of cardiovascular, central nervous system, immunology and infectious diseases, oncology, respiratory and women’s health.
